Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Medvrstniško nasilje v vrtcu opredeljuje na splošno, kaj je sploh nasilje in kakšne oblike in vrste nasilja poznamo. Diplomsko delo vključuje eno vrstno nasilja, ki je podrobneje obdelana, to je medvrstniško nasilje. Opisano je medvrstniško nasilje v vrtcu, kakšne oblike medvrstniškega nasilja poznamo, kdo so žrtve nasilja in kaj žrtve doživljajo ter kdo so povzročitelji. S študijem literature na to temo so smo v diplomsko delo vključili teme, kot so vzroki in posledice nastanka medvrstniškega nasilja, kako vzgojiteljice reagirajo, ko opazijo medvrstniško nasilje, ali uporabijo vrstniško mediacijo, izdelajo načrt k spodbujanju primernega vedenja ko razrešujejo nasilje med otroki. Ob tem je v diplomskem delu opredeljeno, kako mediji vplivajo na nasilje in pri katerem spolu se največkrat pojavi medvrstniško nasilje. V empiričnem delu je potekala anketna raziskava, glede medvrstniškega nasilja otrok v vrtcu, ki so jo morali izpolniti vzgojitelji in vzgojiteljice različnih mestnih, vaških ali primestnih vrtcev po Sloveniji. Raziskava temelji na vzorcu 155 vzgojiteljev in vzgojiteljic. V empiričnem delu so prikazani in interpretirani rezultati anketnega vprašalnika, ki so bili obdelani s pomočjo programa SPSS. Opravljena raziskava je pripeljala do rezultatov, da različne oblike medvrstniškega nasilja pojavljajo v obeh starostnih obdobjih.

Secondary abstract: The diploma work entitled Peer violence in kindergarten defines in general what violence is and what forms and types of violence are known. The diploma work includes one type of violence, which is described in more details and that is peer violence in kindergarten. forms of peer violence that are known, who the victims of violence are, what the victims experience and who the perpetrators are. Through the revised literature, the thesis also included topics such as the causes and consequences of peer violence, how educators react when they observe peer violence, or use peer mediation to develop a plan to promote appropriate behavior when resolving violence among children. In addition, the diploma thesis defines how the media influence violence and in which gender peer violence occurs most often. In the empirical part, a survey was conducted regarding peer violence of children in kindergartens, which had to be completed by educators from various urban, village or suburban kindergartens in Slovenia. The research is based on a sample of 155 educators. The empirical part presents and interprets the results of the survey questionnaire, which were processed with the help of the SPSS program. The conducted research led to the results that different forms of peer violence occur in both age groups.
