Abstract

Če želi podjetje uspešno poslovati, mora stalno nadzirati in obvladovati stroške podjetja.

Secondary title: Corporate wellness in slovenia
Secondary abstract: If a company wants to operate successfully, it must constantly monitor and control the company's costs. The company's costs also include the absence of employees due to health reasons. Therefore, one of the goals of the personnel function is not only to manage, but also to reduce the cost of employee absence due to health reasons. One of the approaches to reducing the absence of employees due to health reasons has recently been corporate wellness, with which companies take preventive care of the health and well-being of their employees. The master's thesis entitled Corporate Wellness in Slovenia presents the importance of corporate wellness in Slovenia. A survey was conducted with the help of a questionnaire among employees in Slovenian entrepreneurs. We obtained data from respondents on whether Slovenian companies invest in the health of their employees and their well-being, what importance they attach to corporate wellness programs and whether they have already introduced any well-being program in the company. 115 employees in various Slovenian entrepreneurs participated in the research. The results of the research showed that companies in Slovenia do not care about the well-being of employees at work, the management does not take into account the wishes of employees in the implementation of wellness programs and that there is a positive relationship between good sensitivities and wellness programs. Unlike in Slovenia, corporate wellness programs are well known and established abroad. In Slovenia, a better response to practical use could be achieved through online advertising, conferences and education about the positive effects on employees who participate in such programs. Incorporating a wellness program into the Occupational Safety and Health Act would be a sensible step towards promoting the use of wellness programs.
