Abstract

V magistrskem delu sem na podlagi pregleda literature mednarodnih standardov, priročnikov in raziskav razvil model za ocenjevanje kakovosti javnega prevoza. Model predlaga nov koncept kvalitete storitev: kvalitetna storitev javnega prevoza je storitev, ki ponuja čim višjo občuteno hitrost potovanja za čim več potencialnih uporabnikov s čim manj resursi. Predlaga tudi nov konceptualni okvir: elementi kakovosti so horizontalno klasificirani na fizične/objektivne in psihične/subjektivne; vertikalno pa so klasificirani na elemente postaje, linije in omrežja. Model je namenjen primerjavi omrežij javnega prevoza, vrednotenju sprememb omrežja in za izvajanje monitoringa kvalitete storitev.

Secondary title: A model for systematic evaluation of public transport service quality
Secondary abstract: In this thesis, a public transport quality evaluation model is developed based on literature review of international standards, manuals, and research. The model proposes a new concept of quality: good public transport service is a service that offers higher perceived travel speed to more potential users with less resources. It also proposes a new conceptual framework: quality elements are horizontally classified as physical/objective and psychological/subjective; and vertically classified as station, line, and network elements. The model is purposed for public transport network comparison, evaluation of network changes and for service quality monitoring.
