Abstract
Stres na delovnem mestu predstavlja vedno večji problem v današnjih časih. Predstavlja strošek za delodajalca in vpliva na zdravje zaposlenih.
Stres na delovnem mestu povzročajo predvsem visoka zahtevnost dela, nerealno postavljeni roki, previsoka pričakovanja nadrejenih, pogosto spreminjanje
dela, uvajanje novih tehnologij, hiter tempo dela in nezanesljivost delovnega mesta. Na stres bi morali biti pozorni tako zaposleni, kot tudi delodajalci.
Posameznik lahko postane bolj odporen na stres, vendar pa s tem ne odpravi nekaterih vzrokov stresa, ki izvirajo iz delovnega okolja. Prav zato bi morali
pristopiti k odpravljanju stresa tudi delodajalci z obveščanjem in izobraževanjem zaposlenih o problematiki stresa ter odpravljanjem ali omejevanjem stresnih
dejavnikov, kjer bi bilo možno. V diplomski nalogi smo predstavili stres, vpliv stresa na naše delo in kako ga obvladati oziroma ga celo preprečiti.
Raziskavo smo osredotočili na zaposlene iz gostinskih zasebnih in javnih lokalov. Uporabili smo tehniko anketiranja, ki je potekala anonimno. Ugotovili
smo, da je večina zaposlenih zadovoljna z delom, ki ga opravljajo, stres na njihovem delovnem mestu pa jim najpogosteje povzroča narava njihovega dela.
Ko čutijo, da so pod stresom, ga skušajo na nek način obvladovati. Pokazalo se je tudi, da stres nima večjega vpliva na njihovo zasebno življenje, ter
da podjetja večinoma zanemarjajo vpliv stresa na zaposlene.

Stress at work is a reaction to events or experiences at work. Work related stress presents itself as a growing problem in today' s times. It is a
costly problem for employers and affects the health of employees. A person experiences stress when they perceive that the demands of their work are
greater than their ability to cope with it. It is caused by high level of job demands, unreal deadlines, too high superior's expectations, frequent
changes of work process, introduction of new tehnology, working of high speeds and uncertainty of still having o job tomorrow.
Everybody should pay attention to stress and that includes employees and employers. A person can learn how to manage it, even reduce it, but can not
eliminate causes of stress that derives from workplace enviroment. Organisations can manage and prevent stress by improving conditions at work. That
is the reason why employers should be involved in reducing and managing stress at work. By working together we can successfully tackle the causes of
work related stress and reduce or eliminate stress factors, where possible.
In this thesis we present stress, how it affects our work and how to cope with it or even prevent it. Our research was set on employees in private
and public catering bars. As a survey method we used anonymous questionnaire. We have established that the majority of employees is satisfied with
their jobs. Their workplace stress is mostly caused by the nature of their work. When they are stressed out they try to manage it somehow.
The research has also shown that stress has no major effect on their spare time and that most companies discard the affect of stress on their employees. |
