Abstract

V vsaki dejavnosti so otroci postavljeni v okoliščine, ko morajo kritično razmišljati.

Secondary title: Mind and Motion Games for Young Pupils
Secondary abstract: The master's thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. Mind and motion games are games where children are both physically and cognitively active, but also develop social skills. The purpose of conducting mind and motion games is to improve memory, facilitate participation in learning, reduce stress, strengthen positive emotions for learning and more physical activity of children. In each activity, children are placed in situations where they need to think critically. They learn to think while having fun on the go. This relationship between movement and learning is supported by research showing that movement improves comprehension and, as a result, pupils achieve better results in school. The practical part consists of mind and motion games and examples of learning preparations that include mind-motion games. Forty-four mind and motion games are described, which can also be adapted to the age of the children, and it all depends on the creativity of the teacher. Each game is named, the necessary aids are specified, which rooms are suitable for the game and with which subjects, in addition to physical education, the game is connected to. To facilitate the idea of how to include games in the classroom, three examples of lesson preparations are written with included mind and motion games for different age groups and with different interdisciplinary connections. Mind and motion games are a good motivation to learn and enrich all lessons.
