Abstract

Podatki zajeti z vprašalnikoma so bili statistično obdelani s programskim orodjem SPSS PASW 18. Rezultati.

Secondary title: CONFLICT BETWEEN WORK AND FAMILY OF NURSES
Secondary abstract: The profession of a nurse falls in the category of professions with high risks of work family conflicts. The aim of this study is to recognize the presence of the work family conflicts with nurses and assume the connectivity of certain professional stressor groups with the work family conflicts, as well as to detect the dimension in which the work family conflict most usually manifests itself. Research methodology. Quantitative method has been used. Questionnaires have been employed to collect data for the Nursing Stress Scale and Work Family Conflict Scale. The data collected have been statistically processed by the SPSS PASW 18 software. Results. A positive statistical correlation of professional stressors with the work family conflict has been established. The nurses are facing the type of conflict, whereby work interferes with family; but the detailed examination proved the time based WIF dimension of the conflict. Conclusions. The research findings state the two most common dimensions of the professional stressors among nurses; i.e. work load and death and dying. The link between the age and the work family conflict has not been confirmed; nevertheless the link between professional stressors and work family conflict is statistically significant. There is no statistically significant difference in conflict level with people who take care for the sick or elderly within the family and those who do not.
