Abstract

Nowadays engineers, researchers and scientists use advanced software suites for their work in the field of signal analysis and simulation of dynamic systems. Among the most commonly used tools are LabVIEW and MATLAB. Therefore a question arises - which one to choose? In this paper both tools are briefly presented, followed by a comparison based on practical examples. Featuring four comparisons - computation with matrices, FFT calculation, Bode plot and DC motor simulation.
