Abstract

Razvoj informacijsko komunikacijske tehnologije je izjemno vplival tudi na področje izobraževanja. E-izobraževanje predstavlja učenje, ki ga podpira sodobna tehnologija. Najpomembnejša značilnost tovrstnega učenja je neodvisnost od kraja, časa in prostora, zato takšna oblika izobraževanja omogoča največjo možno prilagojenost uporabnikom, njihovim potrebam in željam. Diplomska naloga v teoretičnem delu zajema opredelitev e-izobraževanja. Predstavili smo njegove osnovne značilnosti, vrste, načine in oblike. Aplikativni del naloge poudarja vpeljavo e-izobraževanja v učni proces zdravstvene nege in ponuja možne pristope pri implementaciji e-izobraževanja v učni proces. Empirični del v začetku zajema predstavitev rezultatov raziskave, ki temelji na deskriptivni metodi raziskovanja in kvantitativni metodologiji. Raziskovalno orodje je predstavljal standardiziran elektronski anketni vprašalnik, ki je predhodno že bil uporabljen. Pomemben del raziskave predstavlja longitudinalna študija, v kateri smo primerjali rezultate, pridobljene v raziskavah v letu 2005 in 2010, raziskavo pa smo izvedli med študenti Fakultete za zdravstvene vede Univerze v Mariboru. Študenti so z značilnostmi e-izobraževanja pretežno seznanjeni, vendar se jih večina tovrstnega izobraževanja predhodno ni posluževala. Velika večina anketiranih meni, da so za e-izobraževanje v zdravstveni negi bolj primerni teoretični predmeti. V nadaljevanju empiričnega dela so anketirani v raziskavi izražali svoja stališča in občutke v zvezi z e-izobraževanjem in njegovo vpeljavo v učni proces zdravstvene nege s pomočjo petstopenjske Likertove lestvice. Ugotovili smo, da e-izobraževanje predstavlja pomemben potencial na področju novih znanj v zdravstveni negi, ki ga je potrebno ustrezno razvijati in implementirati v učni proces, saj ga odlikujejo številne prednosti, ki gredo v korak s sodobnim načinom aktivnega življenja in se v največji možni meri približujejo potrebam in željam uporabnikov.

Secondary title: Implementation of e-learning in the educational process of nursing care
Secondary abstract: Development of the information and communication technology has a great impact on the field of education. E-learning represents learning which is supported by technology. The most important characteristic of this method of learning is the learners' independence in terms of time and space. Therefore, this method gives the learner the highest possible freedom to adapt their learning to their wishes and needs. In the theoretical part of this diploma work, we define e-learning and present its main characteristics, methods and forms. In the practical part, we focus on the ways of applying the e-learning method to the educational process, more specifically to the study programme Nursing Care, and suggest some ways of implementing the e-learning method to the teaching and learning process. In this part,we present the results of an empirical study in which we used the descriptive and quantitative research method. The data were collected by using a standardized electronic questionnaire. A very important part of the research is a longitudinal study in which we compared the results of a similar research study conducted in 2005 and 2010. The research was conducted among the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Maribor. The students were quite familiar with the characteristics of e-learning, but most of them had no experience with this method during their study at the Faculty. According to most of the students, theoretical subjects are more suitable for e-learning then practical subjects. In the empirical part of the study, students expressed their attitudes and feelings about various aspects of e-learning and its implementation in the study programme Nursing Care. Their responses were categorised by using a Likert scale. According to the research findings, e-learning has a big potential for providing students with up-to-date knowledge and thus needs to be further developed and implemented in the teaching and learning process. E-learning also brings numerous advantages for to-day living and life style, and is most suitable for the learner's needs and wishes.
