vpogled v odnos med šolskim sistemom in socialno strukturo
Abstract
Avtorja v daljšem časovnem obdobju raziskujeta razmerje med družbenimi neenakostmi in šolanjem na terciarni ravni v Sloveniji. Pri tem upoštevata tudi vplive šolskih reform in politike v času več desetletij. Ugotovita, da se vpliv družbenih neenakosti na možnosti vstopanja v vrste študentov v zadnjem času zmanjšuje, in sicer predvsem kot posledica ekspanzije števila šolajočih se na terciarni ravni. Šolska in socialna politika in celo financiranje imajo pri tem le majhno vlogo. Kaže, da se, kljub izmerjenemu občutnemu zmanjševanju, družbene neenakosti pri šolanju še vedno izražajo in skozenj reproducirajo. Do izraza pa najverjetne je prihajajo tudi nove oblike socialnih neenakosti, s katerimi si privilegirani sloji zagotavljajo lastno reprodukcijo.

Secondary abstract: |
The authors study the relationship between social inequalities (stratification, gender, regional and other disparities) and schooling, as well as academic achievement during a long-term period in Slovenia. The issue is indicated most clearly at the tertiary education level. They consider school reforms during a lengthier period of time. They find that social disparities diminish primarily owing to scholastic expansion. School and welfare policy, even financing has little significance. There are clear indications that social disparities at school still reproduce themselves in spite of their diminishing by standard measures. New forms of social disparities by which the privileged ascertain their reproduction, come about. |
