Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo predstavili načrtovane plesne dejavnosti na klasično baletno glasbo, s katerimi smo želeli pri otrocih razvijati ljubezen do plesa in jim približati klasično baletno glasbo. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili značilnosti plesa, plesne vzgoje, načine poučevanja, vrste gibalno-plesnih dejavnosti, elemente plesa, dejavnike gibalnega razvoja in pomen klasične glasbe za otroka.

Secondary title: Classical Ballet Dance Activities for Pre-School Children
Secondary abstract: In this diploma thesis, we have presented planned classical ballet dance activities. With these activities, we wanted to instil a love of dance in children and make classi-cal ballet music more accessible to them. The theoretical part describes the charac-teristics of dance, dance education, teaching styles, types of dance and movement activities, elements of dance, factors of motor development and the importance of classical music for the child. We have presented how the art of dance is defined in The Kindergarten Curriculum. We focused on the global goals in the field of arts, the role of adults and the connection of dance with other fields of activity in kindergar-ten. On this theoretical basis, we have prepared eight lesson plans which include classical ballet dance activities. The practical implementation was carried out in Kin-dergarten Tržič with children aged between five and six. Based on evaluations, we have discovered that the children have gained basic perception of the variety of dance styles which could performed with classical ballet music. The children have identified movement and musical characteristics of different dance styles, and con-nected them with content motifs. Classical ballet music has additionally motivated the children for dance creation, mainly due to its character and dynamics.
