Abstract

V okviru diplomskega dela smo uporabili metode strojnega učenja in ustvarili aplikacijo, ki iz opisa družbene prireditve ali dogodka določi njeno kategorijo. Na spletu smo našli podatke prireditev, jih ustrezno pripravili in z njimi zgradili model. Naučen model deluje tako, da za vhod dobi opis dogodka in vrne kategorijo vnesenega dogodka. Izdelali smo še spletno aplikacijo, ki služi kot uporabniški vmesnik za klic modela. Aplikacija je javno dostopna za uporabo na spletu.

Secondary title: Classification of social events based on their descriptions
Secondary abstract: In our diploma thesis, we decided to use machine learning to create an application that determines the category of a social event from its description. We used event data that we found online, prepared it properly, and used it to build a model. Learned model gets a description of an event as the input, calculates, and returns the category of the entered event. We have also created an application that serves as a user interface for accessing the model. The application is publicly available online.
