Abstract

V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili značilnosti jezika mladinskih del, neologijo kot jezikoslovno vedo, pomen in vlogo priložnostnic v mladinski književnosti, besedotvorno teorijo in oba avtorja. Empirični del prinaša analizo priložnostnega besedja v mladinski literaturi Borisa A. Novaka in Andreja Rozmana Roze. Analiza zajema skupaj 325 novotvorjenk, ki smo jih razvrstili glede na sistemskost oziroma nesistemskost postopka, po katerem so nastale, besedno vrsto in besedotvorno vrsto. Predstavili smo tudi pomen novotvorjenih besed in razložili njihovo vlogo v literarnem besedilu.

Secondary title: Nonce-Words in youth liberature by boris a. novak and andrej rozman roza
Secondary abstract: Since the love of playing games is in children's nature, it is no wonder they find playing language games interesting as well. Stylistic neologisms (occasionalisms) are special, different, made up words that are very common in youth literature. The purpose of the thesis titled "Stylistic neologisms in youth literature by Boris A. Novak and Andrej Rozman Roza" is to review the collected works of both authors and make a set of occasional neologisms that appear there, as well as to check whether those words are formed by system or non-system word formation procedures. Thus, neologisms are classified into two basic groups: system and non-system neologisms. The system ones include the neologisms, formed according to normal and predictable word-formation procedures; the non-system ones include neologisms, formed according to unusual and unpredictable formation patterns. The theoretical part of the thesis presented the characteristics of the language in youth literature, neology as a linguistic science, the meaning and role of occasionalisms in youth literature, the word-formation theory, and both authors involved. The empirical part presents an analysis of occasionalisms in the youth literature of Boris A. Novak and Andrej Rozman Roza. The analysis includes a total of 325 neologisms that were classified according to the system or non-system nature of the process, in which they were formed, as well as the word type and the word-forming type. We also presented the meaning of newly created words and explained their role in the literary text.
