| Secondary abstract: | In this graduation thesis, we compared different sensor technologies and their usage for distance measurement. We describe the process of designing a prototype device for measuring 2D space up to 10 meters with LiDAR technology. Current technologies allow many sensors of different price ranges, offering a wide range of applications and increasing reliability. |
