Abstract

Secondary abstract: In the 19th century or the first half of the 20th, one can often find expressions of sympathy in the Czech Catholic press (and not only there) for Slovene Catholic-oriented authors (Gregorčič, Meško etc.), and they can be seen as traces of rich mutual relations. However, research in this field has been neglected. The objective of this article is to offer a different view of Czech-Slovene cultural relations as seen in Czech Catholic journals (Vlast, Hlídka, Archa).
