Abstract
V diplomskem delu je navedena raznolika in kakovostna literatura z izborom navezujočih se dejavnosti, ki so primerne za predšolske otroke. Delo je ustvarjeno z namenom ozaveščanja otrok in vzgojiteljev o pomembnosti bralne pismenosti za otrokov razvoj. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela je predstavljen pojem bralne pismenosti, njeni elementi in pomembnost za otrokov razvoj. Predstavljeni so gradniki bralne pismenosti, ki se med seboj dopolnjujejo in otroku omogočajo celosten bralni razvoj. Predstavljena je tudi slikanica, njene značilnosti in iztočnice, iz katerih lahko izhajamo, kadar iščemo kakovostna slikaniška dela. V raziskavi smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo, metodo klasifikacije, metodo analize in sinteze, komparativno metodo in metodo praktičnega dela. V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela smo opravili multimodalno analizo petih izbranih slikanic. Sledi pet izbranih tematskih sklopov, v katerih so omenjena tri slikaniška dela in nanje navezujoče se dejavnosti, ki so izvedene na ne slučajnostnem vzorcu otrok 2. starostnega obdobja vrtca in opis odziva otrok ter vzgojiteljev. Prisoten je model celostnega branja. Ugotovili smo, da otroci ob prisotnosti odraslega bralca z veseljem sodelujejo pri bralnih dejavnostih. Otroci imajo branje radi, saj ob prijetnih ter pozitivnih izkušnjah kažejo zanimanje za branje.

Through the thesis, diverse and high-quality literature is presented with a selection of related activities suitable for preschool children. This thesis is designed to raise awareness among children and educators about the importance of reading literacy for children's development. The theoretical part presents the concept of reading literacy, its elements and its importance for children's development. The componensts of reading literacy are presented, which complement each other and enable the child an integrated reading development. There is also presented a picture book, its characteristics and starting points from which we can start when looking for quality picture books. The descriptive method, the classification method, the analysis and synthesis method, the comparative method and the method of practical work are used in the research. In the practical part of the thesis, a multimodal analysis of five selected picture books was performed, follwed by five selected thematic sections, in which three picture books are mentioned, and related activities carried out on a non-probability sample of children of the 2nd age group of kindergarten and a description of the response of children and educators. An integrated reading model is present. It has been found that children are happy to take part in activities related to reading literacy and in the presence of an adult reader. Children love reading and, with pleasant and positive experiences, show interest in reading. |
