Abstract

V teoretičnem delu magistrskega dela smo spoznali prednosti sodobnega načina poučevanja s pomočjo izvajanja pouka na prostem in v obliki učnih poti.

Secondary abstract: In the theoretical part of the master thesis, we recognized the advantages of modern teaching methods by conducting outdoor classes and educational paths. We wanted to discover if that approach is better and more effective, so we carried out the research in the practical part. We were mainly interested in whether engaging in an educational path helps to acquire new knowledge, and we previously checked the influence of age and gender on prior knowledge of students within the same thematic units. We researched a sample of 85 elementary school students. We checked their prior knowledge within several units of the subject Natural science and technology and then set off on the educational path. After the wandering, we tested the newly acquired knowledge. The research results did not show any statistically significant differences in prior knowledge between girls and boys, although boys were slightly better at solving tasks. Variations occurred with age, and statistically significant differences appeared. As expected, the older students were better at solving tests. There were also statistically significant differences in solving the final test compared to the initial one. Students solved the tasks better after completing the educational path.
