Abstract

Tarot je vedeževalno orodje v obliki kart, ki po navadi izstopajo zaradi čudovitih ilustracij. V diplomskem delu smo se odločili v teoretičnem delu predstaviti in analizirati tarot karte in njihovo zgodovino, predstaviti pomen grafičnega oblikovanja, likovnih elementov in procesov. V praktičnem delu pa se osredotočamo na samo oblikovanje, grafično oblikovanje in ilustriranje tarot kart. Grafično oblikujemo in ilustriramo vsako karto, upoštevamo simboliko in barve. Prav tako se v zaključni nalogi osredotočamo na oblikovanje hrbtne strani kart ter na oblikovanje in snovanje same embalaže za karte.

Secondary abstract: The Tarot is a fortune-telling tool in the form of cards, which usually stand out for their beautiful illustrations. In this thesis we have chosen to analyse the Tarot cards and their history, to present the importance of graphic design, artistic elements and processes. In the theoretical part, and in the practical part we focus on the design, graphic design and illustration of the cards themselves. We graphically design and illustrate each card, taking into account the symbolism and the colours. In the final thesis, we also focus on the design of the card backs and the design and layout of the card packaging itself.
