Povzetek

Grafično oblikovanje nas dandanes spremlja povsod, tako v smislu, da smo tisti, ki ustvarjamo, kakor tudi, da smo gledalci, ki opazujemo lastno okolico. V diplomskem delu obravnavamo umetnika v klasičnem smislu, kakor tudi grafičnega oblikovalca. Izhajamo iz dejstva, da oba začneta svoj proces ustvarjanja na listu papirja. Pri ustvarjanju grafičnega oblikovalca je ena izmed prominentnih razlik ta, da zaključi svoje ustvarjanje s pomočjo grafične tablice, v digitalni sferi. Opišemo komponente grafične tablice, ter se na kratko dotaknemo glavnih prelomnic na področju razvoja le-te. V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela smo ustvarili plakat v programskem orodju Adobe Illustrator. Najprej smo predstavili pripravo okolja, tako v programu kakor tudi prilagajanje za delo z grafično tablico. Predstavili smo prednosti in slabosti uporabe grafične tablice. Navedli smo tudi, kako smo se spopadli s slabostmi, ter uporabo grafične tablice kombinirali z uporabo računalniške miške.

Sekundarni povzetek:	Graphic design accompanies us everywhere nowadays, both in the sense, that we are the ones who create, as well as in the sense, that we are the spectators who observe our sorroundings. In the thesis we consider an artist in the traditionla sense, as well as the graphic designer. We derive from the fact, that each begin their creative process on a piece of paper. The key difference, when creating, is that a graphics designer switches out their pencil and paper for a graphics tablet and stilus. Therefore, we describe the components of a graphics tablet and depict the key turning points, concerning its development. In the practical part of the thesis, we created a poster using the program Adobe Illustrator. Firstly we presented the preparation of the work environment in the program as well as the adaptation for working with the graphics tablet. We included the advantages and disadvantages of using a graphics tablet and also stated, how we dealt with the latter. By using a graphics tablet in a combination with the computer mouse, we were able to achieve the desired result.
