60 let institucionalizacije
Abstract
Avtorica v preglednem znanstvenem članku poda uvid v zgodovino društvenega udejstvovanja v zahodni politologiji in še posebej delovanja Slovenskega politološkega društva (SPOD). Primerja izvorno zastavljene naloge društva z možnostmi realizacije in oceni razloge za spremembe oziroma aktualno stanje v politološkem društvenem delovanju nasploh.

Slovenian political science and political science associations |
Secondary abstract: |
In this review article, the author provides an insight into the history of the activities of political science associations in Western political science, especially those of the Slovenian Political Science Association (SPSA). She compares the initial objectives and aims of the association with the possibilities of their realisation and considers the reasons for changes, i.e. the current state of affairs in political science associations’ life generally. The author hypothesises that following the global economic crisis political science associations like the SPSA have entered a lasting crisis of financial and human resources caused by systemic changes over the last decade, above all by amendments to legislation regulating scientific research and by the unfavourable academic climate oriented to quantitative efficiency as dictated by the natural sciences. Political science has been affected by these changes even more than other, fully established social sciences due to the process of reinforcing its identity as a relatively young scientific discipline |
