diplomsko delo

Abstract

Secondary title: Motivation for education in company x
Secondary abstract: This diploma thesis is based on the research focusing on how actively the employees participate in additional training or education and how much the company emphasizes and raises awareness of the importance of additional training for the individual. Moreover, it shows to what extent the company checks how effective and beneficial the training or education is. The purpose of this thesis was to establish the factors that affect the individual to actively participate in training or education, what the most important factors are for the individual in order to participate in a course and to point out different areas of education that the employees find the most interesting; it also determines which technique for testing the acquired knowledge is the most unpleasant for the participants. The method of description and compilation was used in the theoretical part and with the survey we obtained the data on the current situation involving the state of education. We have come to a conclusion that active participation of the employees is influenced in most part by a good lecturer, acquired knowledge, motivation by the superior and the way the education or training is held. The employees showed that the biggest interest for additional education lies in the fields of information technology and foreign languages. The most unpleasant ways for testing their acquired knowledge include an interview and a quiz.
