magistrsko delo

Abstract

V teoretičnem delu magistrskega sela smo podrobneje raziskali otroški govor, njegov razvoj glede na določene dejavnike in okolje, kakšni so mejniki v govornem razvoju in skozi katere faze govornega razvoja posameznik prehaja.

Secondary title: Complex KWL teaching strategy in second grade
Secondary abstract: The thesis' theoretical portion is dedicated to detailed research of children's speech, how it develops when considering certain factors, the environment, the milestones of speech development, and the stage of speech development. The interconnection between speech, reading, and factors that influence their development are explored in this research. Literacy is by far one of the most important indicators of student's knowledge as it integrates the individual's ability to read, write, comprehension, and the know-how to put to use the information from the text. Adept readers are able to find answers to various questions within the text and extract key information. By employing reading strategies teachers help produce more successful readers. Therefore, various reading strategies have been discussed in detail, i.e., KWL strategy, the general study strategy, reading strategy PV3P, Pauk's strategy, and the strategy of reciprocal teaching strategy. These strategies can be employed pre, during or after reading sessions. The empirical portion presents and researches the effectiveness of the KWL strategy with 2nd grade students. Descriptive and causal experimental method of pedagogical research were used. The research focuses on the student's prior knowledge, the ability to answer independent questions, and whether there was progress after repeated use of strategy.
