Abstract
Magistrsko delo preučuje povezavo med glasbo in govorno-jezikovnim razvojem osnovnošolskih otrok pri usvajanju tujega jezika. Opisuje zgodovinski pomen glasbe v nastanku in oblikovanju človeških jezikov nasploh ter izpostavlja skupne točke glasbe in jezika, ki jih poveže s poučevanjem angleščine kot tujega jezika v osnovni šoli, pri čemer glasbo obravnava kot temeljni element pouka. Poudarja prednosti zgodnjega učenja tujega jezika in pozitivne učinke vključevanja glasbe v učni proces ter raziskuje vpliv glasbe na sposobnost dojemanja učne snovi in motivacijo učencev. Predstavljeni so načini uporabe glasbe pri pouku angleščine kot tujega jezika v osnovni šoli, ki pripomorejo k učinkovitejšemu poučevanju in lažjemu usvajanju učne snovi. Prav tako so navedene različne metode, teorije in pristopi poučevanja, ki povezujejo področji glasbe in tujega jezika. Izvedena je analiza in primerjava izsledkov študij, ki preverjajo učinek vključevanja glasbe v pouk angleščine kot tujega jezika v osnovnošolskem obdobju. Na podlagi teoretičnih izhodišč smo oblikovali dejavnosti s primeri uporabe glasbe pri poučevanju angleščine kot tujega jezika v drugem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju osnovne šole. Pri načrtovanju smo upoštevali splošne in operativne cilje ter predlagane vsebine, predstavljene v učnih načrtih za predmeta angleščino in glasbeno vzgojo v osnovni šoli. Navedene dejavnosti delujejo kot spodbuda in podpora učiteljem pri uporabi glasbe tekom pouka angleščine kot tujega jezika v drugem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju osnovne šole.

The master's thesis examines the relationship between music and the speech and language development in primary school children's foreign language acquisition. It describes the historical importance of music in the origin and formation of human languages in general, and highlights the common points between music and language, connecting them with the teaching of English as a foreign language in primary school, treating music as a fundamental element of the classroom. It emphasizes the benefits of early foreign language learning and the positive effects of integrating music into the learning process, and explores the impact of music on the student's ability to perceive the learning material and the motivation of students. Furthermore, different approaches and activities of using music in the teaching English as a foreign language in primary school are presented, to make teaching more effective and to facilitate learning. Additionally, it also lists various teaching methods, theories and approaches that link the fields of music and a foreign language. An analysis and comparison of the results of studies examining the impact of music in English as a foreign language class in primary school is performed. Based on the theoretical background, we designed activities with examples of the use of music in teaching English as a foreign language in the second educational period of primary school. The planning of activities took into account the general and operational objectives and the content presented in the syllabuses for English and music education in primary school. The referenced activities act as a stimulus and support for teachers in the use of music in the teaching English as a foreign language in the second educational period of primary school. |
