Abstract

Diplomska naloga zajema kratko predstavitev pomena jedrskih elektrarn danes, obratovanja in delovanja Nuklearne elektrarne Krško, predstavitev sistema za hlajenje komponent v turbinski zgradbi ter aktualno problematiko obstoječega prenosnika toplote v prej omenjenem sistemu. Zaradi dotrajanosti prenosnika toplote se v Nuklearni elektrarni Krško jeseni leta 2022 obeta zamenjava le-tega. V nalogi so opisani razlogi za zamenjavo ter preračun novega in obstoječega prenosnika toplote po metodi LMTD. Menjava prenosnika toplote prinaša večjo obratovalno zanesljivost in bo tako omogočila nemoteno proizvodnjo električne energije za naslednjih 20 obratovalnih let Nuklearne elektrarne Krško.

Secondary abstract: The thesis includes a short presentation on the importance of nuclear power plants today, the operation and functioning of the Krško Nuclear power plant, a presentation of turbine closed-cycle cooling water system, and the current issue of the existing heat exchanger in the aforementioned system. Due to wear and tear of the heat exchanger, Krško nuclear power plant plans to replace it during outage in the fall of 2022. The thesis describes the reasons for the replacement and calculations of the new and existing heat exchangers according to the LMTD method. Replacing the heat exchanger will improve operational reliability and enable uninterrupted production of electricity for the next 20 years of operation of Krško Nuclear power plant.
