Abstract

Secondary title: The use of collaborative robot UR10-e for testing electronic circuit boards
Secondary abstract: This work talks about an automatic robot cell with the use of the collaborative robot UR10-e (Universal Robots), for testing printed circuit boards and their functionality. It covers all the used elements and devices in the robot cell, including the robot algorithm. The robot is testing electronics automatically without the use of human help, it doesn’t need any vital requirements such is food, water or even breaks. Electronics that pass the test are placed into the “Reel and Tape” machine, this way the boards are ready for the next stage of assembly or shipping. Failed electronics are placed in the “Red zone”. Human help is only used to manipulate with the electronics on the input and output of the robot cell. The robot cell has also security features such as safety walls, sensors and a safety scanner.
