Abstract

Ko se odločimo, da bomo naredili napravo za merjenje količine CO2 v zraku, moramo vedeti, kateri senzor je najbolje uporabiti za našo zahtevano nalogo. Zahteve se razlikujejo glede na nalogo, ki jo izpolnjujejo. Tako imamo lahko veliko različnih zahtev in posledično senzorjev, ki jih lahko uporabimo. V diplomski nalogi sem primerjal in analiziral razliko med tremi senzorji za merjenje koncentracije CO2. Primerjal sem jih na podlagi cene, porabe toka in natančnosti merjenja. Naredil sem vezje, ki je povezalo vse tri senzorje, potem pa na istem mestu in ob istem času meril količino CO2. Prav tako sem z ampermetrom meril njihov tok in na spletu našel cene za vse tri senzorje. Ko sem dobil vse rezultate, sem jih med seboj primerjal. Tako sem dobil realne lastnosti senzorjev. Na podlagi teh lastnosti in zahtev določene naloge, se lahko odločimo, kateri senzor uporabiti.

Secondary title: Comparison of carbon dioxide sensors for atmospheric measurements
Secondary abstract: When we decide to make a device to measure the amount of CO2 in the air, we need to know which sensor best suits our required task. The requirements vary depending on the task at hand. Thus, we can have many different requirements and sensors we can use. In my diploma thesis, I compared and analyzed the difference between three CO2 sensors. I compared them based on price, current consumption, and measurement accuracy. I made a circuit that connected all three sensors, and then measured the amount of CO2 at the same place and at the same time. I also measured their current with an ammeter and found prices for all three sensors online. After I got all the results I compared them with each other. That’s how I got the actual characteristics of the sensors. Based on these characteristics and the requirements of the specific task we can decide which sensor to use.
