Abstract

Raziskava organizacijske klime in zadovoljstva zaposlenih omogoča vpogled v prepričanje in mnenje zaposlenih o organizaciji in njihovem delu. Hkrati je odlično diagnostično sredstvo za identifikacijo prednosti in kritičnih področij, zato je redna spremljava klime zelo pomembna. Področje raziskave diplomskega dela je bilo stanje organizacijske klime in zadovoljstva zaposlenih na Ministrstvu za obrambo Republike Slovenije na Oddelku za prehrano in protokolarne storitve. Diplomsko delo je razdeljeno na teoretični in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili klimo, njene osnovne dimenzije in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih pri delu. V empiričnem delu smo izvedli raziskavo o stanju klime in zadovoljstvu med zaposlenimi na Ministrstvu za obrambo Republike Slovenije na Oddelku za prehrano in protokolarne storitve s pomočjo vprašalnika, ki ga uporabljajo podjetja, ki so vključena v SiOK. Namen diplomskega dela je bil opozoriti, kako pomembna sta organizacijska klima in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v organizaciji, ter preučiti organizacijsko klimo in zadovoljstvo med zaposlenimi. Cilj diplomskega dela je bil odgovoriti na raziskovalna vprašanja, preučiti teoretična izhodišča o organizacijski klimi, primerjati rezultate raziskave v organizaciji z raziskavo SiOK in navesti predloge za izboljšavo. Klima na Oddelku za prehrano in protokolarne storitve je zelo ugodna, saj njena povprečna vrednost presega povprečno vrednost raziskave SiOK. Vse dimenzije razen nagrajevanja so zelo dobro ocenjene. Zaposleni imajo odlične medsebojne odnose in so zelo pripadni organizaciji. Na področju nagrajevanja je treba več pozornosti nameniti nedenarnemu nagrajevanju, kot so ustne pohvale, spodbude in podpora nadrejenih. Vodje se morajo redno usposabljati na področju motiviranja in komuniciranja z zaposlenimi.

Secondary abstract: A research of the organizational climate and satisfaction of employees provides an insight into the beliefs and opinions of employees on the organization and their work. At the same time it is an excellent diagnostic tool to identify advantages and critical areas, therefore it is important to the measure the climate regularly. The field of the research in the thesis was the state of the organizational climate and work satisfaction in the Ministry of defence of the Republic of Slovenia in the Department for food and protocol services. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part we defined the climate, basis dimensions and employee work satisfaction. In the empirical part we conducted a research on the state of the climate and work satisfaction among employees in the Ministry of defence of the Republic of Slovenia in the Department for food and protocol services with the help of a questionnaire, used by companies, participating in the SiOK. The purpose of the thesis was to point out the importance of the organizational climate employee satisfaction in the organization and study the organizational climate and satisfaction among employees. The aim of the thesis was to find answers to the research questions, study the theoretical hypotheses on organizational climate, compare the results of the research in the organization with the SiOK research and state suggestion for improvement. The climate in the Department for food and protocol services is very pleasant, since its average value exceeds the average value of the SiOK research. All dimensions, excluding rewarding, are very well evaluated. Employees have excellent relationships with each other and are very loyal to the organization. In the field of rewarding should be put greater emphasis on non-financial rewarding like verbal praise, encouraging and support of the leadership. Leaders have to educate themselves in the field of motivating and communicating with employees.
