Abstract

Delo od doma je koncept, kjer lahko zaposleni opravlja svoje zadolžitve z uporabo sredstev in opreme, ki jih priskrbi in odobri podjetje in omogoča zaposlenemu fleksibilen delovni čas ter je v pomoč pri zagotavljanju ravnotežja med poklicnim in zasebnim življenjem zaposlenega. Lahko bi rekli, da je delo od doma sodoben pristop k delu, ki je omogočeno preko interneta in mobilnosti, kjer se delo lahko opravlja ne glede na fizično lokacijo. Ravno zaradi tega se danes večina delodajalcev odloči, da bodo tovrstno obliko dela ponudili svojim zaposlenim. Z delom od doma so se ljudje srečevali že v preteklosti, vendar pa je zaradi pandemije covida-19 le-ta še toliko bolj v porastu, saj je bilo za zajezitev virusa potrebno ohranjati socialno distanco, zaradi katere so vladni organi za nedoločen čas zaprli šole, delovna mesta, turistične znamenitosti in celo ustavili nekatere javne prevoze. Številna podjetja so sledila državnim predpisom, da zaradi javnega varstva zdravja ljudi svojim zaposlenim odredijo delo od doma. Za potrebe magistrske naloge je bila izvedena raziskava, kjer je bilo ugotovljeno, da je za samoučinkovitost pri delu od doma, potreben zaseben in miren prostor ter ustrezna delovna oprema. Ravno zato je pomembno, da slednje zagotovi delodajalec, ali pa zagotovi tudi najem zunanje pisarne v kolikor zaposleni nima mirnega in zasebnega prostora. Tovrstna oblika dela ima lahko za posameznika in podjetje številne prednosti in slabosti, kar bomo podrobneje predstavili v nadaljevanju.

Secondary abstract: Working from home is a concept where employees can perform their duties using the means and equipment provided and approved by their company and it also allows employees flexible working hours and help them ensure a balance between professional and private life. We could say that working from home is a modern approach to work that is possible through the Internet and modern technology where work can be done regardless of the physical location so most companies today have decided to offer this form of work to their employees. People have encountered work from home in the past, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is even more on the rise, as it has been necessary to maintain social distance to contain the virus, which has closed government schools and jobs indefinitely, tourist attractions and even some public transport. Many companies have followed state regulations, so they ordered work from home to protect the health of their employees. For the needs of the master's thesis, a research was conducted, where it was established that for self-efficacy when working from home, a private and quiet space and appropriate work equipment are needed. This is precisely why it is important that the employer provides the appropriate equipment, or also rents an external office if the employees do not have a quiet and private space in their own home. This type of work can have major advantages and also disadvantages for individuals and companies which we will discuss further below.
