Secondary abstract: | The article represents the project outline scheme of a device for testing metal samples, according to ASTM standards. It is based on the experience of a previously developed apparatus for testing carbone anode samples in the aluminium industry. The reconstruction involves the introduction of a servo-hydraulic drive, position and force sensors, as well as modernized computer control. The developed closed-loop control algorithms also enable procedures for the dynamic testing of specimens. |
