Abstract
Problematika samooskrbe s hrano je v zadnjem času v ospredju zanimanja strokovne javnosti, saj ima doma pridelana hrana številne prednosti. Prisotna so prizadevanja, da se tudi na lokalnih nivojih poveča kmetijska pridelava. V tem kontekstu je prikazana tudi problematika samooskrbe s hrano v občini Lovrenc na Pohorju, ki je srednje velika in pretežno hribovita. Nekateri pogledi in izkušnje domačinov v zvezi s samooskrbo so razvidni v anketi, ki je osrednji del naloge. Raven samooskrbe s hrano v občini je pridobljena na osnovi izračunov in deloma ocen, ti kažejo, da so v letu 2020 pokrili 76 % prehrambnih potreb, kar je nad republiškim povprečjem. Pri projekciji povečanja samooskrbe je upoštevana omejitev, da naj se ta doseže le z zamenjavo kmetijskih rastlin. Na osnovi takšnega pristopa je lahko za leto 2023 načrtovano, da se kmetijska pridelava v občini poveča za okrog 8 %, s čimer bi tudi hribovita občina prispevala delež k rasti republiške prehrambne bilance

Food Self-Sufficiency Estimation with Suggestions for its Increase in the Municipality of Lovrenc na Pohorju |
Secondary abstract: |
The issue of food self-sufficiency has recently been at the forefront of public interest, as home-grown food has many advantages. Efforts are being made to increase agricultural production at local levels. In this context, the problem of food self-sufficiency in the municipality of Lovrenc na Pohorju, which is medium sized and predominantly hilly, is also shown. Some of the views and experiences of local people regarding food self-sufficiency are visible and used in the survey. The level of food self-sufficiency in the municipality was obtained by analysing calculations and partly estimates. The data indicate that in 2020 they covered 76 % of food needs, which is above the national average. The projection of an increase in self-sufficiency, was made by including limitations that this should only be achieved via substitution of crops. Based on this approach it was estimated that the agricultural production in the municipality would increase by around 8 %, and thus potentially enable this hilly municipality to contribute to national food self-sufficiency growth |
