Abstract

Pri tem delu smo eksperimentalno analizirali posledice trdnostne neenakosti "over-matched" zvarnega spoja in položaja konice na vedenje pri lomu. Zvarni spoj je bil izdelan z varjenjen pod praškom (EPP). Primerjali smo lomno žilavost CTOD, določeno pri standardnih upogibnih (SENB) in velikih (WP) preizkušancih ter ocenili vpliv "constraint"-a pri nizkih temperaturah. Pri obeh tipih preizkušancev je bila razpoka narejena z utrujanjem materiala. Konica razpoke je bila v varu in grobozrnatem toplotno vplivanem področju (GZTVP). Lomno žilavost CTOD smo določali na podlagi predpisov, ki jih podaja BS 7448. oz. smernic raziskovalnega centra GKSS.

Secondary title: Fracture toughness of over-matched weld joint measured on large and small scale specimens
Secondary abstract: The effects of weld joint strength mismatiching and the crack tip position on the fracture behaviour of overmatched welded joints produced by submerged arc welding (SAW) have been experimentally analyzed. The comparison of CTOD fracture toughness values, determined on standard three-point bend speciments (SENB) and large scale tensile (WP) specimens, and the evaluation of the influence of constraint at loww temperatures has been made. In both types of specimen the crack was made by fatigue. The crack tip was located in the weld metal and the coarse grained heat affected zone. Fracture toughness values were calculated according to BS 7448 using the direct measuring method, developed at the GKSS Research Centre in Geesthacht.
