Abstract

Pupils identify gifted pupils |
Secondary abstract: |
The identification of gifted children could be in an important and unreplaceable way represented by means of observations, estimations and opinions, nominations of the pupils (Peernominations). Schoolfellows are according to the modern Renzulli conception of gifted much often in the situation, in which they identify gifted children more totally and efficiently. These are especially non-standard school situations, that aren't accessible to teachers. Our descriptive research about peernominations analyses the intentions and views of this observation. The observation scale for children (for application in school practice) and the principles of teachers treatment are enclosed. The teachers' part of introduction and children's qualification is also very emphasized by identification of gifted children. With this research we intend to complete an unreplaceable gap in the identification of gifted children in Slovenia and in the world |
