Abstract

Osnovni namen diplomskega dela je prikazati, kako lahko otroci z motnjami v duševnem razvoju kakovostno preživljajo svoj prosti čas in hkrati izražajo svojo ustvarjalnost in iznajdljivost na različne načine. Dejavnosti, ki spodbujajo ustvarjalnost otrok z motnjami v duševnem razvoju, ponujajo številne možnosti za razvoj njihovih skritih potencialov. Najpomembneje je poudariti dejstvo, da lahko s spodbujanjem kreativnosti vplivamo na otrokove motorične, kognitivne, socialno-emocionalne, ustvarjalne zmogljivosti.

Secondary abstract: The main purpose of my final thesis is to show how children with intellectual disabilities spend their leisure and express their creativity and ingenuity at the same time in different ways. The activities that encourage creativity of children with intellectual disabilities may offer numerous possibilities for the development of their hidden potentials. It is important to stress that by stimulating their creativity we may influence children motor, cognitive, social, emotional, creative and verbal abilities.
