Secondary abstract: | Location awareness is becoming an essential element of many emerging markets, and positioning is considered an integral part of the system design of the upcoming fifth generation (5G) mobile network. Given the demands of a growing market, upgrading current technologies for more accurate positioning is very necessary. This work deals with different positioning methods, their advantages and disadvantages and the differences between them. This work also addresses the issue of privacy and security in 5G mobile networks and whether this is a solvable problem. |
