Abstract

V magistrskem delu smo s pomočjo raziskave tuje in domače literature natančneje predstavili pojem družinskega podjetja. Definirali smo tipične značilnosti in lastnosti družinskega podjetja, prednosti in slabosti le-tega ter vpliv družinskih podjetij na družbo in gospodarstvo v Sloveniji. Glavna značilnost družinskega podjetja je, da je v ospredju družina, zato smo prikazali vlogo družine, kako ta vpliva na poslovanje in delovanje družinskega podjetja, predstavili smo družinske odnose in navsezadnje tudi proces prenosa nasledstva družinskega podjetja. S pomočjo predelane literature smo prepoznali največja problema, s katerim se soočajo družinska podjetja, in to sta nasledstvo in planiranje le-tega. V magistrski nalogi smo podrobno predstavili potek procesa prenosa nasledstva. V praktičnem delu magistrske naloge smo predstavljena teoretična izhodišča povezali z izbranim raziskovanim družinskim podjetjem Biro svet, d. o. o. Predstavili smo razvoj podjetja vse od same ustanovitve pa do danes. Na podlagi poglobljenega intervjuja z lastnikom in zaposlenimi smo lahko spoznali in prikazali glavne prednosti, slabosti, priložnosti in nevarnosti za podjetje Biro svet, d. o. o. Podrobno smo predstavili tudi člane družine, njihove vloge in družinske odnose. Naredili smo pregled, ali imajo v podjetju planirano nasledstvo in kakšne možnosti izbire naslednika ima trenutni lastnik podjetja. Za zaključek smo podali še predloge in časovnico za lažje in bolj pregledno planiranje prenosa nasledstva.

Secondary abstract: In the master's thesis, we have presented the family business in more detail with the help foreign and domestic literature research. We have defined the typical characteristics and properties of a family business, its advantages and disadvantages, and the impact of family businesses on society and the economy in Slovenia. The main characteristic of a family business is that the family is at the forefront, so we have shown the role of the family, how it affects the business and operation of the family business, we have presented family relationships and, ultimately, the process of transferring the succession of the family business. With the help of processed literature, we have identified the biggest problem that family businesses face: succession planning. We have shown who, in theory, has the opportunity to take over the family business and the succession process. In the practical part of the master's thesis, we have connected the presented theoretical starting points with the selected researched family company Biro svet, d. o. o. We have presented the development of the company from its founding to the present day. Based on an in-depth interview with the owner and the employees, we were able to learn and show the main strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats the company Biro svet, d. o. o. is facing. We have also presented in detail the members of the family, their roles and family relationships between family members. We have done a review of whether the company has a succession plan and what options the current owner of the company has for choosing a successor. In conclusion, we also offer suggestions and a timeline for easier and more transparent planning of the transfer of succession.
