Abstract

V raziskavo so bili vključeni vsi učenci drugih razredov dvojezičnih osnovnih šol v Prekmurju.

Secondary title: TEACHING LITERACY ON BILINGUAL PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN PREKMURJE
Secondary abstract: The aim of the diploma paper Teaching Literacy on Bilingual Primary Schools in Prekmurje was to determine the possible differences in reading and writing skills in Slovene, in comparison to the language in which the children were taught these skills. All second grade pupils of bilingual primary schools in Prekmurje were included into the research. Literacy was examined using two tests with the same pupils in November 2008 and March 2009. Thus, the individual's progress in reading and writing skills was examined. We have come to a conclusion that there are no significant differences in literacy in comparison to the language in which literacy was taught. Proficiency is mainly the result of individual pupil's talents.
