Abstract

V magistrskem delu je predstavljen razvoj in izdelava simulatorja dirkanja na osnovi Stewartove ploščadi s šestimi prostostnimi stopnjami za promocijo novega produkta podjetja Emsiso d.o.o.. V delu je pregledana teorija Stewartove ploščadi, ergonomije voznika v različnih vozilih in nekaj metod skeniranja, ki se navezujejo na razvoj simulatorja. Izbrano idejno zasnovo smo v kombinaciji z eksperimentalno metodo pripeljali do zaključenega 3D modela in ga kasneje tudi izdelali. Celoten projekt je zajemal sodelovanje med inženirji elektronike in strojništva, programerji, oblikovalcem in tehničnim osebjem. Kljub temu da je razvoj simulatorja zaključen, še pušča odprte poti za nadgradnjo in uporabo v drugih panogah.

Secondary title: Design and construction of a racing simulator
Secondary abstract: The master thesis presents the development and construction of a racing simulator based on the Stewart platform with six degrees of freedom for the promotion of a new product of the company Emsiso d.o.o.. The thesis reviews the theory of the Stewart platform, the ergonomics of the driver in different vehicles and some scanning methods that are related to the development of the simulator. The selected conceptual design was combined with the experimental method to produce a completed 3D model and was subsequently built. The whole project involved collaboration between electronic and mechanical engineers, programmers, designers and technical staff. Although the development of the simulator is complete, it still leaves open avenues for upgrading and use in other sectors.
