Abstract

Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in praktičnega dela. V teoretičnem delu s pomočjo strokovne literature predstavimo lutke, kjer se osredotočimo na vrste lutk, ki smo jih uporabili v praktičnem delu, vlogo in pomen lutke za otroka, uporabo lutke v vrtcu in metode dela z lutko. Sledi predstavitev igre, kjer se osredotočimo na pomen igre za otroka in vrste iger, kjer se posebej osredotočimo na simbolno igro, ki je ključna za naše diplomsko delo. Sledi tudi področje narave, kjer se dotaknemo naravnega materiala, pomena naravnega okolja za otroke, gozda, listavcev in iglavcev. Predstavimo tudi posamezne drevesne vrste in njihove plodove, ki smo jih uporabili v praktičnem delu. Sledi praktični del, ki smo ga izvedli v vrtcu Šentilj v Slovenskih goricah v skupini Klobuki, kjer so otroci stari 5-6 let. V okviru diplomskega dela smo z otroki izvedli osem vodenih dejavnosti, kjer smo izdelovali lutke iz naravnega materiala, ki smo ga nabrali v gozdu in na poti v gozd. Otroke smo po vodenih dejavnosti opazovali pri simbolni igri z izdelanimi lutkami in simbolno igro dokumentirali s fotografijami in evalvacijami. Zanimalo nas je tudi, ali vodene dejavnosti izdelovanja lutk iz naravnih materialov pripomorejo k povečanju prepoznavanja posameznih drevesnih vrst. Pred začetkom dejavnosti in po koncu vseh dejavnosti smo s pomočjo pred testa in po testa preverili njihovo znanje o posameznih drevesnih vrstah in njihovih plodovih, ki smo jih uporabljali za izdelavo lutk.

Secondary title: Puppets and symbolic play in the second age bracket
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, puppets are introduced with the help of academic sources, focusing on the types of puppets that are used in the practical part, the role and importance of puppets for children, the use of puppets in kindergarten, and methods of working with puppets. This is followed by a presentation of play, where we focus on the importance of play for children and types of games, with a special focus on symbolic play, which is key to our thesis. We also touch on the subject of nature, where natural materials are discussed, along with the importance of the natural environment for children, forests, as well as deciduous and coniferous trees. Individual tree species and their fruits are also presented, which is made use of in the practical part. The practical part was carried out in the kindergarten Šentilj, in a group of kindergarteners that go by the name of "Klobuki" (Hats), where the children are aged 5-6 years. As part of the thesis, we conducted eight guided activities with the children, where we made puppets from natural materials that we collected in the forest and on the way to the forest. The children were observed through symbolic play with the made puppets and the symbolic play was documented through photographs and evaluations. We were also interested in whether guided activities of making puppets from natural materials contribute to the recognition of individual tree species. Before and after all activities, we tested the children's knowledge of individual tree species and their fruits, which were used to make the puppets.
