Abstract
Predšolsko obdobje je eno izmed najpomembnejših obdobij v otrokovem življenju, saj je potrebno razvijati in spodbujati otrokov celostni razvoj. Vzgojitelji, pomočniki vzgojiteljev, specialni in inkluzivni pedagogi (v nadaljevanju strokovni delavci) se morajo za uspešno delo z otroki s posebnimi potrebami ustrezno usposobiti in na tem področju poglobiti svoje znanje. To znanje zajema značilnosti posameznih skupin teh otrok in njihovih staršev, metode in strategije dela z njimi v oddelku, prepoznavanje, opazovanje in spremljanje otrokovega razvoja oziroma napredka, načine načrtovanja ciljev in dejavnosti ter prilagajanja z uporabo različnih didaktičnih pripomočkov. Prehod na inkluzivno paradigmo pomeni spremembe pri usposabljanju strokovnih delavcev. Da bi lahko strokovni delavci učinkovito delovali v inkluzivnih okoljih, morajo imeti ustrezne vrednote, stališča, veščine, sposobnosti in znanja (Opara idr., 2010). Strokovni delavci na plečih nosijo eno izmed najodgovornejših nalog, saj morajo po principu timskega dela sodelovati pri večini nalog za otroke s posebnimi potrebami, ki so vključeni v skupino in ob tem nositi polno poklicno in osebno odgovornost (Čas, Kastelic in Šter, 2003).

Pre-school period is one of the most important periods in a child's life in which it is important to develop and encourage child's integrated development. Educators, assistant educators, special and inclusive pedagogues (next coming up professional workers) have to suitably qualify themselves and deep their knowledge for the work with children with special needs. This knowledge includes characteristics of individual groups of children and their parents, the working methods and strategies with them in the class, recognition, observation, and monitoring of child’s progress and development, ways of planning goals and activities and adjustments with the use of different didactic accessories. The transition to inclusive paradigm means the change of training for professional workers. To be able to work in inclusive places, professional workers have to have appropriate values, attitudes, skills, abilities and knowledge (Opara idr., 2010). Professional workers have one of the most responsible tasks, because they have to work as a team in forming tasks for the children with special needs which form the group and of course have personal and professional responsibility (Čas, Kastelic in Šter, 2003). |
