Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali glasbeni razvoj predšolskih otrok, pri čemer smo se osredotočili na vodenje pevskega zbora v vrtcu in spremljali zanimanje otrok za sodelovanje v njem. V teoretičnem delu smo podrobneje opisali glasbeni razvoj otrok, potek in pomen glasbenih dejavnosti v vrtcu ter vlogo pevskega zbora v predšolskem obdobju. V empiričnem delu smo izvedli šest didaktičnih enot za učenje in utrjevanje pesmi v skupini otrok, starih od 5 do 6 let. Z izbiro primernih pevsko-tehničnih vaj smo spremljali zanimanje in glasbeni razvoj otrok ter ugotovili, da se je zanimanje za petje v pevskem zboru povečalo, hkrati pa so otroci napredovali pri pravilnem izvajanju vaj za pevsko držo, dihanje, artikulacijo in glasovni nastavek. Namen diplomskega dela je bil spodbuditi zanimanje otrok za njihov glasbeni in pevski razvoj. Rezultati kažejo, da je pevski zbor lahko zelo koristen pri spodbujanju otrokovega zanimanja za glasbo in razvoju njegovih glasbenih sposobnosti.

Secondary abstract:	In this thesis, I have discussed the musical development of preschool children, focusing on the process of leading the kindergarten choir and monitoring the children's interest and participation. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I have described in detail the musical development of children, the course and importance of musical activities in a kindergarten setting and the role the choir has in the preschool period. In the empirical part of the thesis, I have conducted six didactic units for learning and consolidating songs in a group composed of 5 to 6-year-old children. I have monitored the children's interest and musical development by choosing appropriate singing and technical exercises and found that the children’s interest in singing in the choir increased, and at the same time they made progress in terms of correct execution of exercises for singing posture, breathing, articulation and vocal pitch. The purpose of this thesis was to stimulate interest in children's musical and singing development. The results show that the choir can be very useful in encouraging and nurturing a child's interest in music and development of their musical abilities.
