Velika Britanija in laburistična vlada (1945-1951) v luči časnika Ljudska pravica

Abstract

Zanimalo nas je, kaj in kako je časnik Ljudska pravica pisal o Veliki Britaniji v letih 1945-1951. Po koncu druge svetovne vojne leta 1945 je na volitvah zmagala laburistična stranka pod vodstvom Clementa Attleeja. Zmagala je tudi na naslednjih volitvah leta 1950. Laburisti so zahtevali nacionalizacijo rudnikov, železnic, tovornega transporta in komunale ter zagotavljanje storitev zdravstvenega varstva. Veliko Britanijo srečujemo tudi, kadar govorimo o tržaškem vprašanju in vprašanju koroških Slovencev. Tu so se pojavljala nasprotja med Veliko Britanijo in Jugoslavijo. Leta 1948 je prišlo do spora Jugoslavije z Informbirojem, ki je prinesel odpiranje Jugoslavije proti Zahodu.

Secondary abstract:	We were interested in the content and the manner in which the newspaper Ljudska pravica was writing about Great Britain from 1945 to 1951. At the end of World War 2 in the year 1945 the Labour party under Clement Attlee won the elections. They also won the next elections in 1950. The members of the Labour party demanded the nationalisation of the mines, railroads, cargo traffic and public utilities, as well as the health system. We also come across Great Britain when discussing the Trieste problem and the problem of Carinthian Slovenes. These are the points of different interests between Great Britain and Yugoslavia. In the year 1948 there was a disagreement between Yugoslavia and the Informbiro which brought about an opening towards the West for Yugoslavia.
