Abstract
Materiali, ki sestavljajo steklarsko peč, imajo velik vpliv na proces proizvodnje stekla in kvaliteto končnega produkta. V tej diplomski nalogi so povzete osnove o izdelavi stekla. Pozornost je nato preusmerjena v steklarske peči in specifično na materiale, iz katerih te sestojijo. Po pregledu definicije in osnovnih značilnosti ognjeodpornih materialov, njihove kemijske sestave in izdelave so podrobneje opisani materiali, ki jih srečamo v steklarski peči, njihove lastnosti, vloga in problemi. V povezavi z materiali so omenjene tudi posledice na kvaliteti stekla.

Secondary abstract: |
Refractory materials used in a glass furnace have a huge impact on the process of glass production and the quality of glass. After the explanation of glass production basics, the focus of this thesis is shifted to glass furnaces and types of materials that they are made of. After the definition of refractory materials and their basic properties, refractory materials that are used in glass furnaces are described in more detail. Besides their production and properties, their function and problems that may occur are mentioned. Corrosion of refractory materials and the impact on glass quality is also discussed. |
