diplomsko delo
Abstract

WOODWIND INSTRUMENT LESSONS IN MUSIC SCHOOLS |
Secondary abstract: |
The objective of this diploma thesis was to introduce woodwind instruments and their integration into different music genres, identify motivation and motivational factors influencing music education, and elaborate the significance of playing instruments in music education with special emphasis on the programme carried out in primary schools across the Federal Republic of Germany. Another objective was to establish which instruments are the most popular among music school pupils and the interests behind their decision to play woodwind instruments. The survey was conducted among 77 pupils attending the woodwind class in a music school. It was carried out by means of a non-experimental descriptive-causal method used in educational and scientific empirical research. Results were obtained through questionnaires. According to the research results, the most popular instrument is the flute and the pupils' interest in woodwind lessons is mostly self-motivated. In addition, pupils believe that instrument lessons should also be implemented in primary schools. |
