diplomsko delo

Abstract

Podatki so bili zbrani s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika.

Secondary title: USE OF ICT IN MUSIC TEACHING AT PRIMARY SCHOOL LEVEL
Secondary abstract: In the same way as we benefit from the information communication technology in our everyday life, it may also help the teacher to provide higher quality teaching. However, it is important to use the ICT in a professional way and to the benefit of the pupils. ICT offers the teachers a large number of options also in the field of musical education. The objective of this graduation assignment was to study and apply experimentally the ICT in the teaching of musical education at the elementary level and to do research into the actual use of the ICT in general as well as in musical education. The practical part consisted of a lesson carried out in two fourth year classes. The success of the lesson was verified by means of an analysis of the recordings as well as by means of a survey done among the pupils. The methods applied in the research were the descriptive method and the causal non-experimental method of pedagogical research. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire. 99 elementary class teachers were involved in the research. The results have shown that the ICT has already found its place in the teaching at the elementary level, but is not quite up-to-date, as there are about half the teachers who are dissatisfied with the ICT equipment, the personal computer and the software available for teaching. Neither do the teachers feel competent enough and want more professional support. In musical education the ICT is being used, but most frequently only to play audio and video contents, whereas the electronic foils and e-materials are rarely used. Musical education lessons are rarely carried out in a computer-furnished classroom. In general, ICT is more often used by teachers in the teaching of other subjects than in the musical education. To conclude, there are plenty of challenges for future teachers and creators of the teaching process.
