diplomsko delo
Abstract
V teoretičnem delu sta opisani bistvo borilnih športov in specifična vloga trenerja/mojstra pri teh športih. Predstavljeni so nekateri modeli vodenja v športu in najpogostejši stili vodenja.

Leadership styles in a selected sports club |
Secondary abstract: |
The basic purpose of the research was to find the dominant leadership style of the coaches in the Slavko Šlander Sports Association in which they practice martial arts. The theoretical part describes the essence of martial sports and the specific role of the coach/master in these sports. Some models of leadership in sports and the most common leadership styles are presented. The research part shows the results of the research, which was carried out using an online survey. The research instrument was the Polish version of the Sports Leadership Scale. 52 taekwondo players were included. They were on average 21.2 years old, most of them (73 %) were men. The research showed that, according to the athletes, the coach's leadership is mostly and equally oriented towards teaching and training and providing feedback. Athletes often notice the elements of democratic leadership in the coach, never the elements of autocratic leadership, and only occasionally does the coach also provide them with social support. Since the atmosphere in the group is rated as excellent by the respondents with such leadership, we believe that it is suitable for the field of martial arts. |
