Abstract

Družinska podjetja imajo v Sloveniji velik pomen, saj predstavljajo kar 83% vseh podjetij. Problem, ki je kritičen pri družinskih podjetjih pa je nasledstvo. Podjetja se planiranja nasledstva ne lotijo pravočasno ali se ga sploh ne. V teoretičnem delu smo tako opredelili značilnosti družinskih podjetij, njihove prednosti in slabosti. Predstavili smo pa tudi proces nasledstva, napake, ki se dogajajo pri planiranju nasledstva in težave, ki pestijo managerje pri prenosu podjetja. V praktičnem delu smo analizirali družinsko podjetje Klemont d.o.o., ki se ukvarja s izdelovanjem tehnološke opreme za steklarsko industrijo. Za podjetje Klemont d.o.o., smo pripravili tudi plan nasledstva podjetja.

Secondary title: Family business and the succession planning in a family business
Secondary abstract: Family businesses are very important in Slovenia, accounting for 83% of all businesses. A critical problem for family businesses is succession. Succession planning is not undertaken in time or at all. In the theoretical part, we have thus defined the characteristics of family businesses, their advantages and disadvantages. We also present the succession process, the mistakes that are made in succession planning and the problems that managers face when transferring a business. In the practical part, we analysed Klemont d.o.o., a family-owned company engaged in the manufacture of conveyor belts for the glass industry. For Klemont d.o.o., we also prepared a succession plan for the company.
