Secondary abstract: | The graduation thesis presents the first digit problem or Benford's law. At the beginning is represented history of this problem. After introduction chapter followed two chapters about basic facts from probability and Fourier analysis. This facts are important to understand the thesis and further explanation of the law. Next is described statistical derivation and geometric basis of the law. Finally is given a mathematical formulation of the law and it is explained with basic facts from Fourier analysis. |
