Abstract

Secondary title: Integration of musical stimuli and activities into the daily kindergarten routine for children aged 1-3 years
Secondary abstract: The theoretical section of this Bachelor’s thesis provides an overview of the Kindergarten Curriculum and its incorporation of daily routine activities. Additionally, it explores music as an art form within the kindergarten curriculum. The next chapter discusses musical activities and the musical development of children. Finally, the thesis examines the impact of music on child development and the influence of music on the daily kindergarten routine. In the empirical section, the thesis investigates the effects of including musical stimuli in daily routine activities on children's emotional responses and their engagement in these activities. The research involved 14 children aged 1 to 2. The findings of the study revealed a positive influence of musical stimuli on children's emotional responses. When musical stimuli were included, the children exhibited increased interest, cooperation, and joy while participating in daily routine activities. Furthermore, the research demonstrated that music affected the children's level of activity and their inclination to engage in daily routine activities. Based on the results of this thesis, it can be concluded that incorporating musical stimuli into daily routine activities during the first age period of kindergarten positively impacts the children's emotional response and engagement in daily routines.
