Secondary abstract: | The poet Irena Žerjal started composing verses in the 1960s and is one of the representatives of postwar Triestine poetry, which developed by confronting literary creation in Slovenia. Her poetry does not adjust to the collective identification, but it originates from her inner being. Her personalised horizon of awareness reaches a dimension beyond her personal sphere. |
