Secondary abstract: | The paper presents the concept of predication or subject-predicator agreement, which in Slovene linguistics is understood in a number of different ways. In the works of Jože Toporišič on syntax the term largely relates to the connection between subject and predicate. The other definition, which comes from the Prague School of linguistics and which was introduced to Slovenia by Breda Pogorelec, locates predication in the context of the speech act. |
