| Secondary abstract: | Playwrights are frequently compelled to dedicate their spiritual energy and creative thinking to the aggressive modern world. The paradox is that in the modern Slovene drama only a socially marginalised person can take the role of the medium of empyrean love. There is also the general problem of misunderstanding between people. In modern Slovene drama a mood of depression prevails and the modern world is characterised by authority that soon becomes authoritarianism. |
